WARNING: The following online book is controversial because it
treaches things the average minister is not able to receive into their
heart. When you read it, open your Bible and your spirits that this
revealing can supercede the temporal things of man. Perhaps, just
maybe, you'll receive this vision of the Controvesy of Zion into your
heart and in spirit to unveil things future and happenings you did
not previous know or understand in full! (See Isaiah 34:8, i.e. Jesus)
Moral: When hasn't the truth been controversial?

Preface
Many in this religious world will accept as truth anything which appeals to their
physical senses as long as their ministers are highly esteemed and well-accepted
among their peers. The problem with a "respecter of persons" theme is that
our Father God knows the hearts of all and those who try to justify themselves
and are highly esteemed and well-accepted among men are clearly an abomination
before our Almighty God. (Luke 16:15)
"The Secret of the Seven Thunders" is a book of divine revelation-- a vision of things
that must shortly come to pass. It is an unveiling of the most awesome prophecy ever
given to man on the face of the whole earth-- the height, the width and the depth
of God’s love, forgiveness and everlasting, tender mercy. This book proves beyond
any scriptural doubt that all the spirits ever divinely placed into the human body
of the Lord's greatest creation, (man) are his very own, sometimes wise, oftentimes
foolish, children of flesh.
Even as he dealt with his old testament holy people, the nation of Israel in ancient
times, regardless of man’s foolish and limited insights into theology, our heavenly
Father has always warned first, punished when his word has been rejected, and then,
when man's knee has humbly bowed to his Father's will over their own errant
aspirations, God has always forgiven and restored his rebellious children to
his grace. (Matthew 18:22)
Uncommon to popular, religious belief, this book documents by God’s own word,
why our heavenly Father would never, ever, give up on or allow to be forever
destroyed by Satan's evil and destructive influence, the souls of his children,
the "apples of his eye."

Reflections
As the gentle, constant rain persisted in falling, splashing and cascading down
the sides of the flower-laden coffin, the deep void and sorrow I felt within gave
way to the stark reality of hopelessness. The damp, muffled sounds of the moment
pierced the intensity of my emotions. Was this a nightmare? Oh Mom, we miss you
already! Through a gray swirling mist, the small and very wet crowd of family and
friends had weathered a seasonal storm to pay final respects to this small, kindly
woman they had known during her brief, yet fruitful lifetime. We’re all going to
miss you, Mom!
Hearing the memorized, yet encouraging, words of tribute from this young
minister family acquaintance, gave me the thought, 'there stands one of life’s
many actors playing his well-rehearsed role at the funeral of a woman he hadn’t
really gotten to know in life. What’s life, but another day, another year and
today, sadly to say, another passing away of a loved one? What a waste life can be."
With dulled senses, I recall hearing words which echoed of hope in a time of
despair, yet, in my grief they meant nothing more than religious quackery.
This young priest was speaking of my mother being taken away from the land
of the living to some mythical and distant place called Heaven, the supposed
eternal habitation of God’s "souls that never die," but his words did nothing for me.
My mother was dead; she was gone and to me, that was very final!
Looking back on that dreary, August morning in 1975, the day God took my mother,
I realize now just how much I didn’t know about spiritual things. How oblivious
we can be of searching out the things of God when we have a religious flavor
without a personal relationship to our heavenly Father. Back then I hadn’t the foggiest
notion that this puny, delicate man had a foreordained-right to know his God personally,
even closer than a son can know his father! Being devout and pious at the time, I found
myself playing my part in this game we call life. How very foolish we humans can be
when we walk by sight!
Although never spoken of outwardly, my religious hypocrisy gave me a comfortable
feeling of superiority over others less pious. I always thought I was just a little bit better
than those with less money, older cars, less esteem, or those that were unfortunate
enough to be of some "inferior religious belief." How blind I was in the early years.
With an astute understanding of the role we’re expected to play in blind, religious
faith, I was one of the many living-dead. Believing on the thoughts of my heart, without
any solid testimony, had become increasingly stagnant and I needed more than man's
ways to sustain any semblance of peace. I began seeking and-- I began finding. (Matthew 7:7)
I had always considered whatever my church proclaimed to be the truth was gospel
and being programmed to accept anything they would say, I never doubted, regardless
of whether or not the doctrine had spiritual, scriptural or biblical foundation. I was a
blind man following other blind men into a cleverly-devised, diabolical ditch. How blind
we humans can be when we buy a religious bill of goods without a searching spirit.
I had devout, zealous faith without the savvy of the many spiritual, eternal pitfalls
they presented. I was one of the living, spiritually-dead and didn't know it. With my
heart’s desires centered on the earth, my head was buried deeply into the sands
of time. Having religion I really didn’t care to know anything about the elements of
spiritual truth.
Today, in my jubilee year, I ponder the many pathways I could have taken in my life
and rejoice in the reality that I didn’t. I know now that all things which occur in a
believer's life "work together for good to those that love God" and they will have purpose
if that person truly seeks Him. You might even say accurately, one’s life begins to take on
real purpose when we come to the knowledge of the Truth and accept God’s Way
over the self-serving desires of our heart. (Romans 8:28, John 14:6)
I see a much different world now, one ruled by arrogance and totally out of control--
a global anarchy-in-the-making without any spiritual direction. Our world has become
an ungodly, perishing planet of people who have a form of godliness that's soured and
riddled with misguided allegiance. Mankind has developed a sinister brand of egomania
that is spiced with myriads of beliefs in the gods they have created in the recesses of
continual, evil imaginings. They worship gods their fathers knew not! (Genesis 6:5, Matthew 24:37)
Many of this terminal generation have found comfort in their worship of the money god;
the false deity of human barter, that, when loved and worshipped, favors a respect of
person's sin nature and is 'the root of all evil.' (1 Timothy 6:10)
This man-made, golden calf is made of paper and metal and gives the unsuspecting
a false sense of comfort and security. Those who love money, yet don't have it, will lie,
cheat, steal and even kill for these corruptible, human elements that neither live, love,
breathe nor talk. They forgive no one. If this lost and pious world would purpose to
have their spiritual eyes opened, they would see the approaching storm. They could
see our naked and hungry brethren-- those Jesus told us to care for in his warning--
"Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not unto me." Matt 25:45, John 13:34,35
When walking with the world, we have an insatiable desire to partake of its many
delicacies without much thought for our starving brothers and sisters that have not.
Looking back on my early disposition, no one could have ever called me lukewarm in
anything I did. Yet, seeking the gusto in everything, I discovered the true source of all
my frustrations-- trying to fight a spiritual battle by physical means. (Ephesians 6:12)
Prior to reestablishing my once-forsaken roots in God, I had walked according to the
flesh for thirty-years without any sound direction. I wasn’t raised a heathen, I chose
that path all by myself and I was reaping everything I had sown. It was the summer
of 1952 when my brother Jim and I first came to realize the possibility that God actually
existed. It was our first known indoctrination with the Lord Jesus Christ. Being raised
by our single mother, Merle, any knowledge that an all-knowing, heavenly Father, who
would care for a child like me, offered much hope to my young, impressionable mind.
Due to the untimely death of our Grandma Grey that spring,my brother and I were
dispatched to Camp Good News-- a coed baptist, summer camp-- a beautiful oasis set
among mature pine trees and the white sandy beaches of Cape Cod. This experience
was also complimented by armies of mosquitos, smelly-outhouses, work details, poison
ivy, religious classes, home-sickness, wet-beds, blaring bugles and an open mess hall
that put forth an extra effort to serve food I personally hated.
Camp Good News?
Needless to say, this lonely, out-of-the way "concentration camp" situated on the beaches
of Snake Pond in Forestdale, Massachusetts, was anything but the epitome of 'good news'
to me at the time. In fact, it was this eight year old’s worst nightmare and anything but
a great experience.
It was my first excursion from the friendly confines of Mom’s nurturing apron-strings,
and it was a most unhappy adventure. Oh how homesick this little feller was in the heat
of the Cape Cod summer of 1952. Our mother raised us to love Jesus and she gave us our
first understanding of prayer. That fact alone made the religious services and traditions at
"Camp Good News" not only tolerable, but they provided my fondest memories of that
long, hot and miserable, summer vacation.
It was at Camp Good News in June of that year that the Lord called my brother Jim and
me to his awareness. Accepting Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, made an otherwise disheart-
ening experience well worth the routine and the daily barrage of insects and indigestion.
Sadly, for me, it would be another thirty-two years between that simple understanding
of faith in Jesus and the discovery of the true meaning of my Christian calling. As I recall
the fruits of a wasted walk through decades of worldly pursuit, my heart’s desire is that
"The Secret of the Seven Thunders" might persuade others to carefully reconsider the fragility
and limited time we have been given for our human lives. May these pages encourage you
to forsake the fruitless, religiosity of men and may it catapult you into seeking a true,
Spirit-to-spirit Relationship with our heavenly Father.
From accepting Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in June 1952, I remember the many years
of half-hearted searches in establishing a religious nature that didn’t even matter to the God
of creation. It took forty years for me to realize that God has never asked anyone to be
religious. He desires a personal, One-on-one fellowship with us all-- his sometimes
wayward children.
Seeking With All Our Hearts
To avoid injuring the feelings of the pious, let me clarify my definition of the word, religion.
Jesus never once preached or promoted religion during his three and a half year ministry.
He clearly taught a spiritual relationship to the Father and it was not the religious, but the
common people who received Him gladly. (Mark 12:37) What does that tell us about
our religious nature?
Prophesying about 600 BC, Jeremiah confirmed, "And ye shall seek me, and find me,
when ye shall search for me with all thine heart.' (Jeremiah 29:13) It seems valid that those
who choose man's ways in the form of religion without seeking that true relationship to
their heavenly Father, have a real problem with spiritual truth. God’s wisdom and know-
ledge are found only when we purpose the heart towards our spiritual home, and not on the
many cares of this evil and adulterous life. When we set our love on things above and begin
storing our treasure where our hearts are, then we begin to value the things hoped
for but not yet seen.
Being made of flesh and bone has always presented a battle and this has been the ultimate
cause of man's frustration. The flesh wars against the spirit and that will continue till the flesh
is made incorruptible and immortal. At that time, God will change our carnal bodies from
their natural state to one like his-- perfect. That much sought-after utopian age shall not
come without the physical return of our sovereign God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
This period of unilateral bliss shall be restored in greater splendor than Eden when Jesus
sets up his millennial kingdom at the fulfillment of our 6,000 year sin-curse of labor. And
that appears to be very soon!
The Tabernacle of Hell
For many, Christ's return will be a horrifying
time. All evil entities will be shut up and
sealed in Hell--
God’s spiritual woodshed and place of punishment for Satan and all our
lost brethren that are disobedient and rebellious to his will.
After the catching away (rapture) of the church,
when God removes the believers-- his
salt of the earth, there will come
a time of great purging the likes of which the world has
never
seen. This period is called "Jacob’s trouble"-- the great
tribulation and the time of
proving in the physical what was rejected
in the spiritual-- the love for God. (Jeremiah 30:7
, Daniel 12:1,
Matthew 24:21,22)
Those who continue to blaspheme and reject God’s
will, after this great tribulational purge,
shall stand before their
heavenly Father and be "rewarded" according to their heart’s desires
and for their own evil done in the flesh. Under the Mosaic Law, if anyone’s works are not
perfect in every way, they will be dispatched, without mercy, to an
everlasting life sentence
in the dungeons of Hell.
Uncommon to well-established, but unscriptural
beliefs, Hell is not the Lake of Fire, as so
many unwittingly
proclaim. Hell is the place where the unrepentant brethren are
sent for
their rebuke, chastisement, correction and restoration.
Hell is not the place where a soul is destroyed, but
the dwelling place of the wicked servants--
it's a just and
rightly-deserved place of severe punishment for all who choose to live
by the
law in lieu of our heavenly Father’s grace. Those who will be sent to Hell, go there from their
own free-will-- it's clearly a...
...Matter of Choice
Let me repeat myself? Everyone who is
condemned to Hell goes there by their own free-
will choice. (Matthew
12:37) Individually, we all choose to either obey or disobey our
heavenly
Father’s all-knowing will.
If we choose to disobey and reject our Father’s
will, we will certainly find his wrath and
ultimately his swift,
corrective measures that are righteous and intended to change the
unwilling and disobedient heart from evil to good.
Our heavenly Father corrects his rebellious
children to turn them from wickedness. Once
a child has submitted
to God’s all-knowing and powerful ways, He forgives and restores
them. God’s forgiveness is without limits. He never
corrects with destruction in mind;
rather, he chastises to turn all
hearts from wickedness to godliness. His will shall be done!
Even as God-fearing, father's will first warn, then
correct their rebellious children with
restoration in mind, our
heavenly Father is certainly not that truth's exception, but its
loving, compassionate, merciful and always-forgiving model-- the Lord
Jesus Christ. (Matthew 18:22)
All who are sentenced to Hell under the Mosaic law
will discover too late that this law
mandates they be rewarded,
according to their works performed on the earth-- an eye for
an eye and
a tooth for a tooth and without any mercy, the law also rewards evil
for evil.
(Galatians 6:7,8) Under the law, Hell is a never-ending epitaph for
all the Christ-rejecting
hypocrites. Every rebellious soul who
rejects God will be punished in the horrors of these
caverns of
torment.
The Lord's separation of his sheep from the goats of
Matthew 25:31-46, is the his first
judgment. Here, tribulation
saints who missed the Rapture, yet endured the proving trials
of
Jacob’s trouble, the tribulation, are separated from the evil servants
and brought into
glory by the angels of God.
All the faithful are then rewarded with eternal life
while our self-righteous and God-
rejecting brothers and sisters receive
the fruits of their own heart under the merciless law.
The wicked
(disobedient) will receive everlasting punishment in this place called
Hell,
without any chance for parole. (Matthew 25:46) But...
...Is Hell Forever?
Most religious leaders leave it right there and
forget that the wicked souls who are
judged, sentenced and cast into
Hell are God’s children, too, regardless of their misplaced
trust and
failure to obey their heavenly Father.
Religious and self-righteous hypocrites have great
joy in the fall of others. They're full
of talk about God’s grace
and mercy yet, from their heart they teach the (physical) Mosaic law.
Those that talk of grace yet preach the law are
almost always the first to judge and the last
to forgive anyone.
They yell the loudest, yet, usually do the least.
One self-righteous doctrine teaches that those who
get to Heaven will just forget all about
our lost and spiritually dead
brothers and sisters who are in Hell-- that we will be totally
oblivious of where they are and why they are being punished in
everlasting torments! How
very foolish. That clearly speaks
of judgments under the law!
A human may forget about his spiritually-lost and
floundering brethren in the torments
of hell, but the bible tells us
that our Father God will never, ever forget them. Again, we
must understand that they are in the
chambers of Hell because they rejected their Father's
will by not
accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour while living.
"Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she
should not have compassion on the son
of her womb? Yea, they may
forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven
thee
upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before
me." Isaiah 49:15 (emphasise added)
Our heavenly Father created mankind in his image and
in his own likeness. We, too,
are called to be like-minded and
forgiving, that we can be as our God and perfect in Spirit.
(Matthew 5:48)
God’s Will Be Done!
Scripture tells us that our Lord is not willing that
any of his children should perish in
the Lake of Fire. (2 Peter 3:9b)
God has a plan to make all his rebellious people bow their
knee to his
will and it will be done, in his time from their own free will.
Until the Mosaic law is fulfilled at the completion
of God’s 7,000 year plan for mankind,
the Lord is bound by his own
perfect righteousness to reward everyone according to their
works--
either by grace through their faith or by the law through their works
of doubt--
either by righteousness or by unrighteousness!
God Warns, Corrects
then Restores
God's everlasting, merciful plan includes every knee
bowing in the end. And beloved,
God’s will of first warning, then
correcting and restoring his children will supersede
Satan’s evil,
self-righteous plan for man's eternal destruction in the Lake of Fire.
Our Lord God has spoken it,
he will bring it to
pass; he has
purposed it and he will also do
it!
Isaiah 46:11, Numbers 23:19
For God hath concluded them all in unbelief,
that he might have mercy upon all.
Romans 11:32 (emphasis added) When God’s 7000 year plan for man is fulfilled and
when these present "heavens and the earth pass away," (Revelation 21:1)
the merciless
Mosaic law; the great flesh-spirit stumbling block of all
men, shall be forever abolished.
God’s Word is everlasting but the Mosaic law (works)
shall end when the millennial
kingdom is completed at the Great White
Throne Judgment. (Matthew 5:17,18 24:35)
When the Great White Throne Judgment is set up, God
will extend his everlasting mercy
to all souls that, at one time,
rejected his grace by faith, from the cross to the grave. Yes
beloved, and it will be done for the rebellious also! That means,
those who rejected God's
will shall have another chance. (see
Psalm 68:18)
Even as Jesus descended into
Hell, after his crucifixion, to preach forgiveness for the
remission of
sins to those that were bound under the merciless law of Moses in the old
covenant, he will also set free and save everyone of his new
testament children. One
day, when the law
passes away, all who rejected so great a mercy will be forgiven as
their knee bows to God’s Will. (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1)
The
mosaic law cannot end until God’s seven-day plan for mankind is
fulfilled. Jesus
said that in his delivery of the Sermon on the
Mount: (see "Sermon" in back of book)
For verily I say unto you, till
heaven and earth
pass, one jot
or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law
till all
be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:18
Our spiritually-deadened forefathers unscripturally
promoted the faulty doctrine that
says our heavenly Father is limited
on the times he will forgive man of his rebellious nature.
We have no
scriptural reason to believe or accept such a doctrine. The bible says
that just
isn't so. (Psalm 100:5, Matthew 18:22)
Regardless of man and his theology, when every knee
bows and every tongue confesses
Jesus as their Lord at the Great White
Throne Judgment, Jesus will practice what He preached
to all his
children. Not only is God eternally forgiving (He always
forgives), but Jesus will
one day "bless them that cursed him and do
good to them that hated him. His everlasting
forgiveness and
mercy abounds for ever. (Psalm 100:5, Matthew 5:44, Proverbs 16:6)
Till "every knee bows" and every tongue confesses
Jesus as their Lord, their God and
their Saviour, the flesh will
continue to war against the spirit. Until the mosaic law is
forever
abolished at the Great White Throne Judgment, man will continue
to die in his sins without
God's ultimate, blessed hope, Jesus.
"The Secret of the Seven Thunders" is intended to
enlighten the seeking spirit as it reveals
God’s deep and hidden
secrets of mercy and forgiveness-- mysteries given to his disciples
to
know but hidden from the eyes of the arrogant, religious hearts of the
self-serving.
(Matthew 11:25, 13:11-16)

"Darby’s Barber Shop." Although his
business at first appeared to be closed, a big red,

“Good marn’n Darby me ole bucko, and how'se things with you this fine
day?”
Jim said jokingly, in a poor rendition of an Irish-brogue as he
removed a light windbreaker
for his weekly trim.
“Not so good Jim, not so good a’tol,” Darby replied with a shrug, as if
the world sat
upon his shoulders, “but it’s gonna get better - good
Lord will’n! It’s gonna git betta or
I’ll be checking out real
soon.”
Jim had known Darby O’Connor for many years and his friend’s biggest
draw was a
cheerful and perky disposition. Today his friend was a
wee bit out of sorts.
The Perfect Word
“Well friend, that’s not what the good book says.” Jim said, looking
him straight in the
eye. “The bible says that terrible times of great
purging will precede the return of the
Lord Jesus and that it will
occur near the end of mankind's earthly time of labour.
“All the natural disasters we hear about in the world and read in the
papers are
happening for a purpose.” Jim went on. “It’s called
bible prophecy, foreshadowings--
the warnings of things to come and, if
you will, they are clear signs that the end of all
our labours on the
earth are at hand.” (Luke 21:25)
“Yeah, that may be so, Jim, and maybe not. Ya know the bible was
written by men
and men make powerful mistakes,” quipped Darby, “we’re
not sure and perfect, ya knoo.”
“True, true!” Jim responded, “But foreknowing man’s errant ways, God
inspired
his written word and did not allow wis old testament prophets
any error in what
they prophesied.'
"That means, Darby, God’s word is pure and righteous; it has no error
whatsoever.
(Proverbs 8:8-10, 2 Timothy 3:16,17) Jesus told all
his faithful believers to be perfect
in spirit, "even as our heavenly
Father is perfect.' (Matthew 5:48)
“So yer perfect is it?” said Darby, slightly annoyed by Jim’s statement
of reproof.
“I tho’t the Lord Jesus was the one and only perfect wun?”
“Jesus is the only perfect human who ever lived,” Jim replied
patiently, “but Jesus
told us that his disciples can be perfect in
spirit if we become born into God’s family,
and choose to submit to his
all-knowing and perfect ways.' (John 3:3-21)
“To be saved from what’s soon to come upon this
earth, we must bow our knee
to Jesus,” he continued, “We must profess
him alone as our Lord, God and Savior.
However, there is an
escape from the swiftly approaching wrath that is to be sent
upon
Israel and all the unbelieving world.' (Luke 21:36, Revelation
3:10)
"If we will seek and ask him by faith to intercede in our lives, by our
faith we can
escape this wrath.” (Isaiah 57:1,2, Job 5:21)
"Through his apostle Peter, Jesus
expounded on that
escape from the wrath to come.” Jim said assuredly. “When divided
according to bible context and harmony, exactly as God revealed...
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver
the godly out of temptations, and
to
reserve the unjust unto the day
of judgment to be punished:"
2 Peter 2:9
“In the Greek the word for 'deliver' is rhuomai and simply means 'to
rescue.’ Jim continued,
“The word 'temptations’ is "peirasmos"
and means quite literally, 'a trial or proving time.’
God is warning us that 'he will first rescue the godly from the wrath
to come upon the
world, those who refuse to be justified in Christ’s
Blood-sacrifice on Calvary!’ (1 Thessalonians 5:9,10)
“Well, Jim, me lad, here’s one fella that definitely needs that escape
yer talk’n bout,”
Darby said with a sigh, “Gayle, me one and only of
fifteen years, has gone and left me.
That’s me sole problem. Ah, women,
who kin figure? They ain’t what they used to be, I
kin tell ya thot for
certain sure.”
Knowing his friend’s deep family roots in catholicism and its church
tradition-- that
whatever a priest says is never for dispute, and in
essence, considered equal to the
gospel, Jim chose his words carefully
as he spoke.
“I’m sorry to hear that, Darby.” Jim said, “As your friend and also a
minister myself,
is there anything I can do? Anything at all,
you’ve just got to name it?”
“Thanks Jim, but no, it’s all been said and done already,” Darby
answered sadly, “she’s
left me, seez I’m too overbearing. Guess
the grass is greener elsewhere, in her eyes, or so
it seems to
her. While her mother lived, rest her soul, Gayle was humble and
we were
happy together. Now, well, thot’s another story entirely.”
A Divided House Shall Fall
“My friend, women who rebel against their godly husbands are rebelling
against God
himself.” Jim shared sympathetically. “God has ordained
that the man is the ruler over
the woman and their entire
household. If he will not rule, chaos will rule.
Jesus forewarned, "A house divided against itself shall fall." (Mark
3:24 Luke 11:17 and
Matthew 12:25) It's not wise to go against
the scriptures anytime and especially not today.'
“Any man that won’t obey God and rule lovingly over his house, his wife
and children,
is himself in rebellion against his heavenly
Father. To submit to the male is part of the
woman’s earthly
labours for mother Eve's original sins against God and that ordinance
remains in effect today.” (Genesis 3:16 and Ephesians 5:24)
“Is it a chauvinist, ya are,
matey? Where’d ya hear
that malarkey?” Darby scorned loudly, “Ya wouldn’t get that
blarney
past the door with me Gayle. Ever since she’s been reading her
new age bibles,
she’s been rebellious and hard to handle! She’s
no longer submissive and giving--
wants ta run the house herself.'
“Darby, we’re all in rebellion against our Father’s perfect will,” Jim
said, checking Darby’s
haircutting skills in the mirror, “And that’s
the root’n cause of all this planet’s strife. We
war daily
against the flesh and personally, with our ego.”
“Our battles here on earth are not caused by man or even anything
physical at all,
as we see them.” Jim went on. “Since man’s fall to sin
in the "Garden of Eden," when
our actual labours began because of sin,
mankind has been under a severe, spiritual-
attack by the darkness of
spiritual forces in high places. The demons of Hell battle God
daily for our souls.'
You see, Darby my friend, there are holy and unholy people today, too.”
Jim went on,
“We all must purpose to be either "Cris-tians’ or
Christ'ians. The Christ-chun has God’s
anointing in their lives,”
Jim reiterated, “and such a person’s life is centered on God’s will
over their own.
The Cris'chun makes up most of the professing church and, although they
are very
religious, they are worshipping in vain and with absolutely no
anointing.” (Matthew 15:9)
“Darby, my friend, all too many today are as the majority of Israel
were yesterday--
religious people without being holy unto God.
There is a majority who call themselves,
cris-chun, yet choose to fight
their spiritual battles by physical means-- without God’s
help we will
lose that frustrating battle every time we go it alone. If our
eyes are on the
physical, shouldn't that reveal where our heart's
desires are to God?' (Colossians 3:2)
“Without God’s spiritual armor and protection in our daily lives,
Darby, man runs an
impossible race.” Jim cautioned. “For if we fail to
acknowledge his will or fail to bow our
knee in submission to his only
begotten Son, Jesus, we have no hope and no forgiveness
in this world
or in the world to come.” (John 3:16-20)
“Tell me, Jim, me fine fellow, how can all that help me with the
problem I’ve got with
Gayle?” Darby asked, as he lathered Jim’s neck,
“she’s gone and left me entirely, saying
she’ll never come bock to the
likes of me a’gin.”
“You won’t like what I’m going to say, Darby, but I’ll say it just the
same since we're
close.” Jim said boldly, “You, my friend, are in open
rebellion against your heavenly
Father! That’s why your house has
been divided and broken up.'
“What you have sown in unbelief to God’s will is now what you are
reaping for
unfaithfulness!” Jim continued, “When we choose to be
carnal with the Lord, he
punishes our unfaithfulness and gives us the
desires of our hearts.” (Job 4:8 and
Proverbs 22:8) In Galatians,
6, verse 7, Paul warns, "be not deceived; God is not
mocked: for
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.’
“Darby, God has given his priorities to man from the very beginning,”
Jim went on,
"but because you have refused to give God his rightful
rule over you and your house,
that he might receive his glory in you,
your heavenly Father has rejected you and
whatever authority you could
have had.
“For your rebellion,” Jim explained, “God is now rewarding you
according to the
lust of your own heart. He is replacing your
rightful authority over Gayle and
allowing her to rebel and usurp the
rule over you.” (Isaiah 3:12, 1 Timothy 2:12)
“Darby,” Jim added, “the male will...
Either Rule or Be Ruled!
“That’s not God’s will for you or for Gayle,” Jim added wisely, “nor is
it ever the
desire of any godly woman to rule over her husband against
her Lord’s perfect will.
(Ephesians 5:20-33)
“Yet, when we are unfaithful to give our him his rightful place over
our spiritual
lives,” Jim continued, “we’re telling him, 'we don’t want
your intervention in our lives.'
God then sees us as declaring our liberty from his will and that we are
choosing to go
it alone-- to live by the "law of retribution," which is
an eye for an eye in lieu of the grace
our Lord desires for us and
makes available to all of His children.”
“When we fail to let God rule our spiritual lives," Jim went on,
“neither will he give
us any real authority to rule over our own
physical lives. Even though God will back off
and 'let us run our
own lives,’ so to speak, he never gives up on us. God will never
stop
waiting and watching for our humble, repentant return to his house
of righteousness.” (Luke 15:24)
A CHRISTian Without Love Is A Liar!
(1 JOHN 4:8)
“You see friend,” Jim added wisely, “Israel, God’s old testament holy
people under
the law, are a biblical type of his new testament church--
God’s holy people under grace.
We are not called Jews today but
by another name (Isaiah 65:15), the name of Christ.
That’s why we are
called Christ-chuns. We are called by God to love our fellow man
and
to serve him by serving them in these trials of life." (John
13:34,35)
“A servant that won't serve,” Jim added astutely, “is in the same
spiritual condition
as ministers who won’t minister, house-painters who
won’t paint or brick-masons that
won’t lay brick-- they’re all
rebellious hypocrites, and liars.
“This world’s in open rebellion against God.” Jim persisted. “In
reward for man’s failure
to rule his own house, his nation and his
world as the Lord ordains men to do, he has taken
away man’s rightful
authority and has given it over to the female, that she would strive
against the male. Both the man and the woman are in rebellion against
his perfect will.
Now it's...
A Woman’s House Is Her Castle?"
“What I'm going to say next will not make the feminists too happy,"
Jim said,
"it used to be said 'a man’s house is his castle’ but because
man has been rebellious,
so are his wife and children in
confusion. What we have now in the world is a majority
of weak
men and powerful women figures.'
Jim added sadly, “In the last few years there have been more women
ascending the
corporate ladder to positions of power and greater
authority over men in local, state,
national and world rule, than ever
before since there was a nation upon the earth. This,
too, is a
great sign that the end of labour and destruction is very near.
The bible says in
Isaiah 3, verses 11 and 12...
Woe unto the wicked. It shall be ill
with him; for the reward of
his hands
shall be given him. As for my people,
children are
their oppressors, and women
rule over them. O my people, they
which lead thee cause thee to err.
"God’s will, Darby, is that men be men-- that they should take
authority over their women
with love and according to God’s perfect
will for domestic order. That is not a request but one
of God's
ordinances for all men to follow if they desire the Lord's blessings in
their lives and
on their families.' (Genesis 3:16)
"Because many of this nation’s men have become rebellious, self-serving
and arrogant wimps,
their women and children have likewise become
models of that same rebellious behavior. Isaiah prophesied that
when the female takes charge and begins to lead (rules) the male-- they
cause
thee to err.’
“Look what we have here in Nevada, not to mention the power positions
of the United States government.” Jim shared, with progressive concern.
“We have a scripturally-rebellious first lady,
Hillary Rodham Clinton
ruling over this nation from the White House, controlling a weak-kneed
president.'
"We also have a female attorney general (Janet Reno) and a female chief
justice on the Supreme
Court. Throughout the Clinton
administration, there are more rebellious lesbians, feminists,
homosexual-sympathizers, abortion advocates and a scattering of other
perverts in high positions
of authority than ever before in the history
of the United States.
But I caution the male gender...
Don’t Blame the Woman
“It’s not the fault of the woman,” Jim said repentantly. “We should not
blame her entirely.
The buck should begin, and stop, with the
male. God has ordained that women are in rule in these last-days
because of man's rebellion, and the end is near!"
"The average male in the United States, in particular, and in the
world, in general, have
forgotten their God and his knowledge,
therefore, the majority of this world’s men are being
forsaken.” (Hosea
4:16)
“For that cause alone, Darby,” Jim reminded his friend, “God has
rejected the counsel of man.
Women ruling over men in such
unparalleled proportion is a very clear sign that mankind is
about to
greatly err in the time that remains. Disobedient mankind is
about to be severely
punished with the destruction of everything they
once held dear, and if this nation continues
to reject God, the
severity shall continue to increase dramatically.
“Locally speaking,” Jim continued, “In the past few years Las Vegas has
given over to the
'weaker sex’ a position that had always been in male
rule-- the office of the Mayor. Recently
Las Vegans elected their
first female Mayor, Jan Jones, a sympathizer with
sexual-perverts.
She recently opposed an agenda that
would have refused the homosexuals open game on our
children,
siding with perverts. Yes, indeed, chaos is about to be the end
product of our great
rebellion against God. (Psalm 9:17)
The results can only be reprehensible. We already have a woman as
our state’s attorney
general and another as Lt. Governor. If the
Lord tarries past the year 1994, it requires very
little insight to see
that many Nevadans may vote for, and elect, their first female
governor.
Many other states have already done that.”
"We are reminded Jesus that the end of all things will be 'like the
days of Noah and Lot.'
(Luke 17:26-32) The world of Lot’s
day was filled with the perverted. The ungodly governed
the city
of 'Sodom and Gomorrah,’ while homosexuals, lesbians and other perverts
paraded
their 'alternate lifestyles’ before the righteous God of
heaven. We are cautioned to...
Remember Lot’s Wife?
(Luke 17:32)
“Very soon we might see Nevada’s first female governor,” Jim said with
a sigh. “This
modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah is soon to be as it once
was-- dust to dust and back to
a purged desert decor. Yes, even
as this ungodly, Christ-rejecting nation of ours. “Everyone
who chooses to be a part of this evil,
local, state, national and world system,” Jim predicted,
speaking of
those hell-bent on a global economy, “to look back at their sinister
and perishing
heritage on this earth, the same are forewarned to
remember the eternal monument that was
once Lot’s worldly and
rebellious wife. Looking back at the world of her day, Lot’s wife
was
transformed into 'a pillar of salt.' (Genesis 19:26 and Luke
17:32)
“Do ya say so?” Darby asked Jim, wiping beads of sweat from his
forehead, “I guess we’ve
lost it entirely, Jim. By complacency,
we’ve allowed our world to slip away almost without
contesting her. I
guess there's no use anymore.”
“Yes, my friend,” Jim said, confirming Darby’s thoughts, “but you'll be
happy to know
that God is ruling-- Jesus is still on his throne of
righteousness. Our Lord is our blessed hope
of the ages and Jesus
is coming very soon. (Titus 2:13)
“Throughout the United States,” Jim went on, “the annual rise in female
dominance increases dramatically and is now irreversible!
After all, if man will not lead then he will be lead. But
let's
not forget that God is in control of all things, Darby, everything, but
he allows evil to bring
us to our senses when man fails to obey and
walk with him uprightly.
“Darby, my good friend,” Jim continued, “God is rightfully warning his
people in Isaiah’s
prophecy, 'O my people, they [the women] which lead
thee cause thee to err.’ The rebellious
are about to believe 'a great
lie' and fall into a snare to be judged, sentenced and destroyed
for
systematically forgetting their heavenly Father God.” (Luke 21:35 Psalm
91:3 and
2 Thessalonians 2:11,12)
“Every one is called to be holy before God,” Jim said boldly. “Jeremiah
prophesied that
our heavenly Father knew us before the womb and
sanctified us for a purpose. (Jeremiah 1:5)
Yet today the ungodly
are trying to usurp our Father’s rightful authority by saying they
have
total rights over their own body to control whether they can, or
cannot, terminate the
life of one of God’s precious and unborn
children.”
“Abortionists,” Jim said, his voice rising, “are by any other name,
'murderers,' and they
are interfering with God’s perfect will when they
kill his (not their) unborn babies.
“Yet, contrary to religious fervor,” Jim shared defiantly, "God is
pro-choice, but not the
way the world thinks! God gives us all
the liberty of making our own free-will choices,
but with our decisions
comes tremendous responsibility to our Lord. We will all be
called
before him for these choices, right or wrong, and many will soon
lose much. We will all
be held responsible for our own actions--
either under the Mosiac law, where there is no
mercy, or, under the
perfect grace of God that is the sinless, shed-blood of Jesus--
grace
by faith." (John 1:17)
Satan and the Family
“Satan the destroyer, man’s chief adversary, desires to completely ruin
the family
unit by dividing and conquering. If he is successful
in removing the man, God’s
physical image on earth, the male role
model," Jim went on, as Darby began closing
his shop, “then he can
divide the family and temporarily win his cause by default
in many
cases.”
“Granted,” Jim continued, “most male role models in the home today are
certainly
not close to being faithful or loving, but they are still
called to be godly influences
and the rulers of their own house.
The woman is not called to rule; she’s called to be
man’s help-meet in
this life. (Genesis 2:18,20)
“When the male is forced out of the home and a rebellious female assumes rule of
the house, the ch It was a
balmy sixty degrees in Las Vegas under sunny skies as Jim
maneuvered
his ’78 Ford van into the shopping center on Craig Road and stopped in
front of "Darby’s Barber Shop." Although his business at first
appeared to be closed,
a big red, white and blue rotating-sign near the
entrance gave the silent welcome to patrons.
“Good
marn’n Darby me ole bucko, and how'se things with you this fine day?”
Jim
said jokingly, in a poor rendition of an Irish-brogue as he removed
a light windbreaker
for his weekly trim.
“Not so
good Jim, not so good a’tol,” Darby replied with a shrug, as if the
world sat
upon his shoulders, “but it’s gonna get better - good Lord
will’n! It’s gonna git betta
or I’ll be checking out real soon.”
Jim had
known Darby O’Connor for many years and his friend’s biggest draw was a
cheerful and perky disposition. Today his friend was a wee bit out of
sorts.
Godly People are Submissive
“In this evil world where priority runs amuck,” Jim continued,
“basically speaking,
men don’t love their wives because all-too-many
don’t know their heavenly Father in a
solid relationship. As a
result, they are not respected or honored as the head of the
woman. There is nothing so wonderful as to see a truly,
submissive woman that is
ubject to her husband’s godly rule.
Such holiness in the female is worth her weight in
gold.” God
will always give the seeking spirit a...
Victory to The Humble Heart
“That makes a lot of sense to me.” Darby said reluctantly. “Oh, how
wrong I’ve been.
I’ve failed entirely, Jim. I’ve dropped the ball
completely in me house and I deserve
whot’s happening. Without taking
authority, as God commands, I’m reaping the fruit
of me wrongful
labours. My family’s destroyed entirely and I don't know whot I
can
do abut' it?”
“Well, my friend, that’s the first step,” Jim said assuredly, “we must
humble ourselves
before God, to pray and to seek his truths. We must
tell God we're sorry by admitting
we've sinned against him and that
we've all fallen short of his all-knowing and perfect
ways.” (2
Chronicles 7:14 Jeremiah 5:25 and also James 4:10)
A Family Restored
“Our heavenly Father’s perfect will,” Jim continued, “has always been
to first warn then
correct the error of our ways with chastisement if
necessary. Then, when he sees a humble
and repentant heart, he
forgives and, if it’s still physically possible to reach the man’s wife
spiritually, he will restore the humble man to his rightful position of
godly rule over his
wife and over his entire family. Without
Jesus there is no hope for restoration.
“Isn’t that the will of any godly father?” Jim said, challenging Darby
for a response,
“If we truly love God and our families, won’t we
correct them with love when they disobey
our will and promptly restore
them when they are humble and repentant?
“Many families today have grave misconceptions of the role God ordains
of the father
and the mother,” Jim continued, getting to his feet, “The
man of the house is supposed to
rule over his house with godly wisdom,
loving his bride as Christ loves the church.
(Ephesians 5:25 and
Colossians 3:18-20) We should be setting examples before God, our
wives and our children, that they, too, are examples in the sight of
their peers.”
Love, Honor and Obey?
“The marriage vows a woman used to promise read, 'Do you promise to
love, honor
and obey your husband?’ Jim said with great concern, “but
with today’s new age thinkers,
the average male and female have become
anything but obedient to God or their spouses.
The typical spouse
today is usually self-serving, arrogant, boastful and proud; they
reject
God’s will and have usurped his supreme authority in their
homes. Chaos always follows
disobedience and that is biblical.'
“You see, friend,” Jim added, “when a father shirks his godly
responsibilities and spurns
his rule over his wife and his children,
God removes him as the power and authority figure
and sometimes, as his
own children’s role model.”
“Most of the time,” Jim ventured on, “the man’s young, rebellious wife
seeks out a
replacement for her castaway husband and, being out of
fellowship with her God, she’ll
bring in a man after her own,
evil-thinking heart-- usually another unbeliever.
“What she sowed in rebellion,” Jim said, walking towards the door,
“will soon return to
her in double-trouble. Her problems will
always increase as they are multiplied now by
two self-serving people
in the house. And unless the children’s newest male image has
accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord, he has no capability at all of ever
loving the woman or her
unruly children-- without Jesus, ultimate
rebellion will be her strange bedfellow. (John 15:5)
“The ungodly woman is not the only one who disobeys,” Jim explained.
“The average
male is just as rebellious and disobedient as his female
counterpart. It always takes two
for any discord and the haughty
ego breeds selfish rebellion. There are no perfect parents;
neither are children without error.
“These unfortunate facts of the family directly affect all future
generations and, as the
family unit continues to deteriorate, entire
nations are destroyed from within.'
"Every family and every nation that forgets God will be warned first,
chastened second,
then, at last resort, cast into Hell for the
destruction of the carnal minded." (Psalm 9:17)
Ungodly Role Models
and Sexual Perversion
“Because of unrepentant hearts, God removes that family’s, or
that nation’s, wise men
and replaces them with spineless wimps,
Christ-rejecting adulterers and weak leaders
without morals. The
end of a civilization begins when man rejects God's wisdom.
